So there it is; a lot of traveling and probably breaking some record for most countries visited in 50 days…  insane.  Anyway, we are looking forward to playing games like Counter Strike Online, Starcraft 2, Quake Live & even Black Ops, possibly.  We are, literally, picking games based on each country’s interest.  So we’re trying to accommodate whatever the gamer likes most in their respective country.

If your trying to learn a game and improve your skills, what is most important thing to do?  Watching the best player is an awesome way to learn small tricks and positions a pro use and see exactly how he’s thinking.   Make sure your watching a quality demo though, where he’s playing against another top pro or at least an up and coming pro.  You don’t want to watch him play a noob, as it’ll just be owning someone who is just really bad.

So watching demos is great right?  To an extent.  You need to experience these experiences yourself!  So watching demos should be like 10-15% of your time, and the other time being, practice practice practice…   Don’t think watching demos is going to make you the best player in the world overnight.   You need to learn why, how, when, what this game is throwing at you.  When you have an answer to every situation, then your going to be on your way to the top…  Then its just matter of doing it faster and faster and always being a step ahead of your opponent.

So watch some demos, try out some tactics you learned from watching the pro, and just try to experience every situation 100′s if not 1,000′s of times to perfect it!

“Players can bet money on one-on-one matches or multiplayer tournaments for amounts ranging from $1 to thousands of dollars. It’s legal, say the operators, and it’s growing. At both WorldGaming.com and BringIt.com, two of the larger challenge sites, the average bet hovers in the $10 range. Players — sometimes friends and sometimes strangers, put together via the site’s matching service — register for free, then head to a lobby to find an opponent, agree on the wager amount (technically called an “entry fee” by both sites) and the game. Then, both fire up their consoles to play.”

Though there was one unexpected thing: the amplified, booming voice of Jason Lake. The LA Complexity’s General Manager was in the mall participating in the Fatal1ty Mall Tour along with LA players Megan “belle” Ceder and CJ “GTO” Nelson, along with San Francisco OPTX members Yazan “clowN” Ammari and Alessandro “stermy^” Avallone to form a CGS cast of players across a spectrum of games. The four stars took on challengers in Dead or Alive 4, FORZA Motorsports 2, Guitar Hero, and Quake 4, respectively.

It didn’t take shoppers long to realize this wasn’t the ordinary Saturday shopping fest. The action took place in the middle of the shopping center, ensuring that prospective buyers in all corners got an earful of gaming noises, the emcee exhorting the crowd, or the occasional brief Q & A with one of the star players. And anybody that stopped for a meal in the food court was treated to the full show, as the dining area was a mere hundred feet away on the upper pavilion.

Not surprisingly, hundreds of people stopped by to see what all the commotion was about. Everybody from passers-by, security guards, and even an employee named Brandon (who gave a shout-out to his homie in the T-Mobile kiosk) took in the action. There were kids, teens, young adults, parents, grandparents, and every age and demographic in between.

As for the event itself, it was fun, games, and domination. Stermy^ upheld his legacy in Quake, taking on all comers and leaving without anybody scoring a frag, which would have earned the challenger some Fatal1ty gear. One participant even said he was giving himself a birthday present of ‘getting professionally owned.’”
